Apple Pie Pancakes

What you need:

1 cup oats or Oat flour 

1 tbsp flaxseed meal 

1/3 cup unsweetened apple sauce 

1 date

1/3 cup nut milk 

Cinnamon 

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt 

How to:

  1. If you are using whole oats, pulse them in a blender to create a flour.
  2. Place the flax in the bowl and add 2 tbsp water and let it become a gel consistency. 
  3. Add your oat flour to the flax bowl and the nut milk. 
  4. Once you stir this all in add the apple sauce, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. 
  5. Use a large spoon to make your pancakes on a warmed non stick pan.  

I like to chop some apple slices and toss them in cinnamon and fry them in the pan to place on top of my pancakes.

The normal smoothie ninja blender cup works perfect for this as you can pour the pancakes straight into the pan from the bldner.
